Biography

Dr. Mohammad Husain is a Assistant Professor at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) since Fall, 2012. He graduated with a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York (2012). His study and thesis was on developing a holistic approach to lightweight data security in embedded cloud computing domain. Currently working on projects in the Poly Sec lab involving combining code with open source software packages, affordable computing tools such as ISA kit, Arduino and Raspberry Pi to create labs that can be recreated inexpensively, while not having a detrimental effect on the learning experience.
Dedicated to ensuring that Cal Poly Pomona stands at the top of cyber security. To clearly display all the strengths of the departments using it. Wants students to be able to see active projects. It needs to create its own position and identity such as the library. His goal is to bring include the Engineering department in the center.
